Developed by Kevin J Gallant, professional engineer and Advanced FSC Innovations, the platform is purpose-built to address energy affordability and resilience in Atlantic Canada’s rural, indigenous, and low-income communities. These kits can be assembled into a series of pods.
Why does it work?
Each self-contained pod integrates a 48-volt DC heat pump with 12,000 BTU per one ton capacity, a six-panel bifacial solar array with 3.5 kilowatt peak output, and a 16 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery bank, all mounted on a proprietary spiral ground mount structure. The result is a fully autonomous climate appliance that heats during winter daylight hours and cools during summer, providing year-round comfort without grid dependency.
